NH Board of Nursing Approved
IV THERAPY Course for LPNs
Day and Evening Courses are scheduled on Tuesdays and Thursdays for 5.5
hours each for six sessions. Successful participation in an additional 8 hour
clinical externship is required within 4 weeks following the session of the course
for a final certificate.

Tuition: $385.00
40 Contact Hours: NH Board of Nursing approved program for LPNs.
Purpose: This certificate course is designed to provide LPNs with an understanding of the
essentials in the practice of intravenous nursing care and to prepare the practicing Licensed
Practical Nurse to initiate and maintain intravenous therapy in a health care setting.
This program meets or exceeds the NH Board of Nursing rules regarding the conduction of
said programs.
A maximum of 8 participants will be accepted for each course
Complete the Registration form and mail to HCTA with payment
The Course Syllabus with the first assignment will be mailed as confirmation of
Registration and payment receipt.
LPN/LVN Intravenous Therapy National Certification Examination will be available on request.
Exam is in affiliation with the National Federation of Licensed Practical Nurses, Inc. (NFLPN)
