LICENSED NURSING ASSISTANT NH Board of Nursing approved.
This 145 hour course provides the information and skills to enable nursing assistants to give
quality care in a variety of settings: Skilled Nursing/ Long term care, Home Care,
Rehabilitation and Acute Care Hospitals. BLS, Adult, Infant and Child, AED training are
included.
Class/lab sessions are conducted at HCTA in Manchester. The 60 hour clinical experience is
conducted at local long-term skilled nursing care facilities.
Tuition Cost: $1328.00
Tuition costs are reimbursable when you begin your job in a Medicare facility. Ask us about this.

Completion of your LNA program at SSNAH provides ADVANCED PLACEMENT into the
Practical Nursing program
RE-CERTIFICATION PROGRAMS
LNA Refresher Course
This 24 hour workshop is intended for LNAs whose license has lapsed and have not
practiced within the past 3 to 5 years and wish to take the State Competency Exam. A review
of basic information on Resident’s Rights, OBRA regulations, communication, and infection
control, will be provided, as well as a thorough review of manual skills. Students are
prepared to take and pass the Competency Exam, which will be given at the end of the
course. Cost: $340.00
Nurse Assistant Competency Exam
Competency testing for LNA licensure is offered to candidates who have completed a
nursing assistant course within two years or whose licensed has lapsed. A copy of a
completed Reinstatement Application acquired from the NH Board of Nursing is required for
candidates who have a lapsed license.
Pre-registration and pre-payment is required. Confirmation of test date and a Study Guide will
be mailed with travel directions upon receipt of payment. Testing is scheduled on the second
Wednesday of every month at 8:30 AM
Fees: Combined Test ( Written and Skills) $ 170.00
Single Exam ( Repeat) $ 85.00
Nurse Assistant Challenge Exam
This LNA Challenge Exam includes both written and skills testing. Eligibility is determined by
the NH Board of Nursing and pre-registration is required. A copy of the eligibility letter from the
Board of Nursing must be submitted with application. Testing is offered on the first
Wednesday of each month. Test Fee: $195.00
